Pepper Sprouts in Four Days? April 7, 2008

Highlighted, because they’re wee: three bell pepper sprouts that germinated after four days. I’m not sure it counts; having read some tips online, I buried the seeds under just a thin layer of vermiculite. So I think I’m just seeing the earliest stages that typically take place underground. But still. I’m going to start sprouting more things on top of my cable box.

That’s great! Who knew you could use the cable box as an incubator!
